Free Passes for Museums and other Venues
If you have a valid Toronto Public Library card, you can get free passes to museums and other venues sponsered by Sunlife Financial.
They give the libraries MAP (Museum Arts Pass) passes for the City of Toronto Museums plus the Textile Museum, the Museum of Inuit Art, The Gardiner, Black Creek,the AGO, the ROM, the Zoo, and the Science Centre.
For the last two venues one needs to find a "designated" library. All others are available at your local library. One pass per valid adult library card.
Most passes are given out on Saturday mornings, but check with your library. Each venue has only 5 passes each, so if you are number 6 in line for a particular venue, you are out of luck. In other words, be early at your library. Each pass is for 2 adults and sometimes children. With a MAP entrees are free. You can also check the public library web site, of course.
